Meet Thomas

Thomas C. Dunn is an award-winning screenwriter, director, and playwright based in Los Angeles. His most recent credits include writing and executive producing the upcoming Paramount action thriller, ASSASSIN CLUB, starring Henry Golding, Noomi Rapace, Sam Neill, and Daniela Melchior and— alongside executive producer John Leguizamo— the drama, TRIGGERED, starring Isiah Whitlock Jr, and Caitlin Mehner.

He is the writer/director of THE PERFECT WITNESS, starring Wes Bentley, Kenny Johnson and Beth Grant, and THE BODY TREE, with Emma Dumont, Ivanna Sakhno, and Costa Ronin. Both films were distributed worldwide and streamed on Showtime, Amazon and Netflix. The PERFECT WITNESS was nominated for Best Film as the Sitges Film Festival.

Dunn’s film projects have won Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Film awards at over 40 International Film Festivals including four Academy Award qualifiers. These include Tribeca, Austin, Busan, Sitges, Madrid, Hollyshorts, Cordillera, Fantasporto, Beeston, Rochester, Drama, the Cleveland International Film Festival, and the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival.

As a playwright, he’s the winner of Samuel French’s prestigious Short Play Festival and his work has been presented on stages worldwide.

Dunn holds writing degrees from the University of Southern California (USC) and the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).
